Beetroot Skewers with Orange-Onion Marinade on Feta Cream

• 2 beetroots(pre-cooked or self-cooked)
• 1 onion(red)
• 1 orange(Zest + 2 tbsp juice)
• 1 tsp agave syrup
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 Pinch salt
• 1 Pinch pepper
• 1 Pinch thyme
• 1 Pinch parsley
• 4 wood skewers
• 1portion Feta cream

1. Alternately thread beetroot and onion pieces onto the skewers.

For the Marinade

1. Mix 1whole orange, olive oil, and agave syrup. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the skewers all around with the mixture.

Feta Cream

1. In the meantime, prepare the Feta cream.

2. Crumble the Feta cream coarsely into a bowl. Mash the feta with a fork and mix it with the yogurt, salt, and pepper.

3. Peel the garlic and press it into the Feta cream. Mash it again with a fork.

Grilling/ Frying

1. Grill on a hot grill or in a pan briefly on all sides until the onion have a slight roast aroma and the beetroot take on some color (5–8 minutes, depending on the heat).

2. Sprinkle with parsley while still warm and place on the Feta cream, then pour the remaining marinade over it.
